Where’s Charlie?

Can you help us find him? After his first week interning here at Roadside Systems, Charlie has disappeared. He started his internship in early June, but we quickly noticed some odd behavior. It began with Charlie arriving in a boot on his first day, then transitioned to sleeping and reading books on the office couch. We thought he was reading up on how to become a better employee.

Apparently, he was reading Where’s Waldo ? because he asked us to take a photo of him wearing a striped sweater and then didn’t show up for work. We certainly don’t have any books in the office that advise this behavior! It has been over a week since we’ve seen him in the office. After asking around, two of our co-workers, Chris and Tyler, said they had seen Charlie roaming the streets of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Waldo, we mean Charlie, must have been tired of little kids finding him on the pages of books, because he really disappeared this time. If only Tyler had installed a GPS tracker on Charlie when he saw him, we could have tracked his location on the Roma App. When asked why he didn’t, Tyler stated that companies usually like to place those only on valuable assets.

All jokes aside, Charlie has been a pleasure to have at Roadside Systems. As he prepares to begin Law School at WashU after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill this spring, it’s important he enjoys some free time before being locked behind the Bar. Over the past week, Charlie has been moving the last of his items out of his college house and spending time with his girlfriend and friends. Chris and Tyler also visited North Carolina this past weekend but have since returned safely. We are looking forward to having Charlie back in the office next week. Hopefully by then, he will have replaced the striped sweater with some of his pristine Roadside Systems merchandise. Stay tuned as more blogs and intern content are arriving soon!
