At Roadside Systems, when it’s summer, it’s intern time!
For ten years now, Roadside Systems has run a very unique internship program that features:
- Programming
- Creating business plans
- Guest Lectures
- Sales Prospecting Skills
- Excel Training
- Construction Skills (seriously)
- Lawn Mowing
- And so much more
We try to prepare our interns for the real world!
Over the course of the last ten years, we have had almost twenty interns. Young men and young women alike! We may be getting old, as some of the things these whipper snappers say and do just baffle us. They did grow up with phones in their hands. Maybe our parents were baffled by us!
The following is our list of the Top Ten Most Common Phrases said by a Roadside Systems Intern:
- Sorry, I’m late. My alarm clock didn’t go off
- Can I leave early today
- I won’t be here tomorrow
- What’s for lunch today
- Can I work on something different
- How does the lawnmower work
- I’ve never talked to someone on the phone before
- My mom usually does that for me
- Blame him; it’s his fault
- I am a bit tired today my friends all wanted to hang out last night
- We don’t have the kind of soda in the fridge I want
